STRIKER Nathan Fisher was delighted to make his 100th appearance last week for Spennymoor and capped it with a brace against Hednesford Town for his 50th and 51st goals in black and white.
The 27-year-old joined Moors from Darlington in October 2014 and scored a hat-trick on his debut against his former employers in the Durham Challenge Cup. Last season he finished top scorer with 33 goals in all competitions, firing Moors to promotion from the Evo-Stik Division One North.
Nathan said: "This season has been frustrating as I've been in and out of the team, but I'm now looking forward to hopefully nailing down my place and helping the club to promotion.
"I feel I'm now in my prime and believe I can finish the season as top scorer just as I did in the last campaign. There is tough competition with great players at the club in my position, but I feel I offer something different".
Richmond-based Fisher signed a new two year contract in the summer and has scored six goals from eight starts this season to become a firm favourite with the Moors crowd. He is a player always quick to heap praise on the Brewery Field faithful.
"The fans have been fantastic with me this season and listening to them sing songs about me doesn't go unnoticed. I love that side of things and really appreciate their support".
Fisher is in contention for another start this Saturday away to Marine in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division.
