Spennymoor Town right-back Kallum Griffiths has capped off an excellent season by being named in the Evo-stik Northern Premier League Premier Division Team of the Season.
The forward-thinking full-back has played more games this season than any other Spennymoor player, racking up 48 appearances in a jam-packed fixture list across all competitions.
He is also Moors' second-longest serving player, with 338 appearances to his name in eight seasons with the Club.
He has risen through the leagues with Spennymoor and never looked out of his depth despite the steep quality increase.
His solid defending, brave tackling and pacey recovery have been a staple of his performances this season, as they always have. However, it may well be the three stunning (and important) goals he has netted in the second half of the season that have won him a spot in the league XI. A long-range winner against Marine and two stunning, Beckham-like free kicks from 20 plus yards against Mickleover and the derby versus Blyth will have done his credentials no harm.
Opposition goalkeepers would do well to position their walls extra carefully for the remainder of the season if they see Griffiths placing the ball within striking distance.

Congratulations to Kallum. Reaction from the man himself coming up...
