Managed by Chairman John Allen, The Pics were one of the early season favourites to mount a serious promotion challenge and led the table for a number of weeks in December. However, a run of 8 straight defeats - coupled with the loss of top scorer Alex Reid who moved to Fleetwood Town in January - saw them slip away from the play-offs and are currently in 13th place.
The Pics come into the game with one win from their last eight games, and despite having six defeats these have come by the odd goal. Rushall picked up a point at home to Marine on Tuesday night thanks to a second half goal from former Stourbridge defender Joe Hull (pictured above).
Rushall Olympic 1-1 Marine
Grantham Town 2-1 Rushall Olympic
Rushall Olympic 0-1 Blyth Spartans
Matlock Town 2-1 Rushall Olympic

Rushall Olympic's current league form reads - DLLLDLL
One to Watch - Jose Veiga
The 40 year old Goalkeeper has been ever present this season. Portugal born Jose is a vastly experienced stopper having started his career with Benfica and played 130 games in Spain for Levante before moving to England and playing for Hereford, Macclesfield and a host of non-league clubs. Jose also has 14 international caps for Cape Verde.
The Gaffer says:
"We are in the driving seat for second place which is our target with three games left, and we must keep the pressure on the chasing pack who will be waiting for us to slip up. Rushall are a good side who will be organised and difficult to beat, but it's all about us and the way we go about our business on the day, as there's no better time to finish the season on a high and have home advantage in the play-offs".
