Supporters' Annual Meeting 2016/17 Announced

The Spennymoor Town FC supporters’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place this Saturday, 23 July, at The Brewery Field and will feature a Q&A session with the club’s new management team.

The annual meeting will take place at 1pm in the Moors Bar (at The Brewery Field) and will be followed at 2pm by an informal one-hour Q&A with Manager Jason Ainsley and his team.

The meeting will be used to elect this year’s committee and allow new members to join the Supporters’ Club and take advantage of discounted away travel for the coming season.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to get to know some of Moors’ new signings at the event, who will be meeting fans and holding their own Q&A session. 

Mike Rowcroft, Director of Supporter Engagement, said: “The annual supporters’ meeting is an important event in the calendar for a club such as Spennymoor, which values the input of the community.  But this year, as with every aspect of our organisation, we want to take this to the next level and offer more. 

“Hence we’ll be holding the Q&A with Jason and the new management team, as well as inviting our new signings along to get to know our brilliant supporters, who will turn out to support them passionately at The Brewery Field this season.

“We hope to see it well attended as usual.  Supporters only have until 31 July to order their season tickets too, so this is the perfect opportunity to buy one for anyone leaving it late.”
