Spennymoor Town entertain fellow play-off chasers Matlock Town at The Brewery Field on Tuesday night in a top of the table clash. Moors return to home comforts for the first time since their victory over runaway league leaders Blyth Spartans three weeks ago, and are looking to build on back to back away wins over Halesowen Town and Mickleover Sports. Another win would see Moors move into fourth place as they look to piece together a late-season charge.

The Gladiators are having one of their best seasons for years under new joint-managers Craig Hopkins and Glenn Kirkwood, after reaching the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup and the First Round Proper of the FA Trophy (after knocking Spennymoor out). The Blues are also through to the final of the Derbyshire Senior Cup and are one of the favourites to reach the play-offs in the league.
The Gladiators come into the game in 10th place after a slight dip with one win in their last six games, and three consecutive away losses. Matlock, however, are just three points from 5th placed Workington with a game in hand, so they will be coming to The Brewery Field looking to climb back into the play-off spots.

One to Watch - Marcus Dinanga

The Gaffer says:
"Tuesday's game is massive against a side who, like ourselves, have ambitions of finishing in the top five. So it's extremely important we build on Saturday's excellent performance and take that momentum into the game. I'm hoping for a good crowd too. When the Spennymoor fans get behind us, they can be the difference and now we're at the business end of the season, this will be vital."
