Spennymoor Town’s historic FA Cup First Round tie away to MK Dons will take place on Saturday 5 November, The FA today confirmed.
Moors fans have been on tenterhooks to find out details of how they can follow their side into the first round of the world’s most historic competition.
The clubs have now agreed ticket prices, which will allow adults to watch Moors at a League One, 30,000-seater stadium for the same price as they do at The Brewery Field - £10. Concession tickets are also £10, while Under 18 tickets are £3 and Under 12 tickets are £1.
As the club did in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the competition on 15 October away to Lincoln, Spennymoor will be offering subsidised bus travel for fans. A return bus journey to Stadium MK will cost supporters just £10 per head.
There are a limited number of tickets available. An initial allocation of 500 can be purchased from Friday 28 October at The Moors Tavern, Spennymoor.
They will be available to buy from Steven Lawson, Director of Match Day Operations, from 6pm – 9pm and also from 11am – 12:30pm on Saturday 29 October.
Bus tickets will also be available from Steven for the four-hour trip to Milton Keynes, which will leave from The Moors Tavern at 9:45am on the morning of the match.
Brad Groves, Chief Executive of Spennymoor Town FC, said: “We are delighted to offer our supporters subsidised bus travel to the match and hope we’re supported as strongly as we have been all season.
“The match tickets themselves are also discounted considerably, offering great value on what should be a memorable day out.”
